About Me
Jade Natacha IRIZA is a communication strategist and public service professional with a background in journalism, public relations, and strategic communications. Her work spans both media and government, with experience at the Ministry of Education in Rwanda, the Office of the Government Spokesperson, The New Times — Rwanda’s leading English newspaper —and Crestview Strategy, a global public affairs firm. She is also a fellow of the Umholi We Africa Fellowship at the African Leadership Academy. Jade holds a Bachelor’s degree in Global Challenges from the African Leadership University, with a strong interest in governance and women’s empowerment, and is a proud Mastercard Foundation alumna.
Beyond the titles, Jade is a lover girl, hopelessly committed to love in all its forms. She is deeply family-centered, taking seriously her roles as a daughter, sister, wife-to-be, and future mum. She is a die-hard defender of female friendships, and a quiet patriot who believes, every single day, that Rwanda can and will do better, and that it deserves people willing to work for it, even when no one is clapping.
This blog is for people who read and feel deeply, for those brave enough to listen, question, and unlearn, and for anyone who has ever been told they are “too much” and is slowly realizing that “too much” might actually be their gift.
